My Genes Can Evolve Limitlessly·Chapter 347

# Chapter 347: Heart of the Human Domain

The two entered Shuangyue's room.

Something suddenly occurred to her, and she crossed her arms with a smug grin.

"Hehe~ Neither Qinghe nor Tingyu were faster than me. I won't compare myself to those younger girls, but between the two of them and me, this lady was first! Hahaha!"

Lu Yuan's expression turned slightly awkward.

True, Shuangyue had been the first to break through — but Li Qinghe and Si Tingyu hadn't exactly followed the conventional path. They'd made their move on him before even achieving their breakthroughs.

He wasn't sure whether to tell her. It felt like it would be a bit too devastating.

Noticing the odd look on his face, Shuangyue paused. Her smile gradually faded as she studied him.

"...Don't tell me they've already been with you."

Lu Yuan tugged at the corner of his mouth and gave a small nod. "Yeah."

"Wow! Those two are unbelievable! How could they do something like that?!"

Her pretty face scrunched up in indignation. And here she'd been foolishly waiting until after her breakthrough to find the right moment.

She never imagined those two had already beaten her to it!

After fuming to herself for a while, she grabbed Lu Yuan's hand.

"Hurry up, Yuan! Let's go do the Gene Inscription! And after that, we can do some... thorough research. Heheheh~"

Lu Yuan heard that mischievous giggle and cleared his throat with a dry cough.

This girl really was nothing like the others — so openly eager about it.

*No... the others were probably just as eager. They just wouldn't say it out loud.*

Shuangyue dragged him into the bathroom, and the Gene Inscription began.

The next morning, Lu Yuan stepped out of Shuangyue's room with a hint of satisfaction on his face.

As expected, she was different from the others — remarkably proactive in that department, and quite the adventurous spirit too.

*If I could get Shuangyue to share some of her... insights with Qinghe and the others, that would really be something.*

He drifted into a pleasant fantasy.

The next few days passed in quiet routine.

Lu Yuan spent most of his time training diligently, devoting the rest to keeping Li Qinghe and the others company.

Now that he'd become intimate with all of them, he'd loosened up considerably. Sometimes he'd sneak into someone's room under cover of night — ahem.

When the day of departure arrived, Lu Yuan's group left the Land of Origin and returned to the real world.

A significant number had signed up for the expedition, and several powerful fighters from Great Qi Star intended to go as well. As the group's leader, Lu Yuan naturally planned to bring them all along.

Everyone had agreed to assemble at the Talent Camp plaza.

When he arrived, quite a few people were already gathered. Among them were Li Xinghai and Adams — two of Lu Yuan's elders — along with several other Battle Emperors and a contingent of Battle Sovereigns.

All of them had volunteered for this support mission.

Beyond them, Li Qinghe, Si Tingyu, Si Tingxue, Rebecca, Amy, and Wang Lingling were present as well.

In total, the gathering numbered close to a hundred.

Lu Yuan's body materialized abruptly in the plaza, and every eye turned toward him.

Li Qinghe and the others greeted him with warm smiles.

Li Xinghai and Adams wore expressions of satisfied approval, while the other Battle Emperors and Battle Sovereigns regarded Lu Yuan with undisguised respect.

Setting aside his formidable cultivation and his status as a true War God, his past deeds alone — slaying the Saint Grade Aberrant Feral Beast to save Great Qi Star, and quelling countless Spatial Rifts during the Heavenly Calamity Cult's invasion — more than earned their reverence.

"War God Lu Yuan is here!"

"My Lord, greetings!"

"My Lord, it's an honor to fight alongside you."

The crowd called out their greetings one after another.

Lu Yuan nodded and returned their smiles, then made his way over to Li Qinghe's group.

Li Xinghai laughed heartily. "Yuan, I never imagined you'd grow this powerful in such a short time. It's truly beyond anything I could have pictured."

Adams shook his head beside him, sighing with emotion. "Looking at you makes us feel like relics of a bygone age."

The other Battle Emperors eyed Li Xinghai and Adams with undisguised envy.

Everyone knew that both men had juniors who were extremely close to Lu Yuan. Naturally, their relationship with him was closer as well.

Unfortunately, these others hadn't known Lu Yuan before his rise. It wasn't as though their own clans lacked beautiful young women, but at Lu Yuan's current status, forging that kind of connection was next to impossible.

Never mind the women of Great Qi Star — across the entire universe, how many brilliant young women from far more powerful races had their sights set on him?

They sighed inwardly, then smiled and nodded their greetings.

Lu Yuan chuckled. "You two flatter me. I'm still not strong enough. This crisis could easily happen again, and my current power won't be sufficient."

His words drew grave expressions from Adams and the others.

They exchanged glances before Li Xinghai let out a soft sigh. "If not for this conscription, we'd have known next to nothing about the dangers our universe faces."

"Let's go see for ourselves what these Aberrant Beasts really are." Adams's gaze was cold.

Lu Yuan smiled. "In that case, let's move out."

Everyone nodded.

Spatial ripples surged around Lu Yuan, enveloping the entire group. In an instant, every last person vanished.

Talent Camp students had been watching from a distance, curious about why so many powerful figures had gathered in one place. When the entire assembly blinked out of existence, they stood frozen in shock.

Yang Ping was with Lin Wei, Min'er Ailan, and several other friends at that moment.

Now in their fifth year, they'd matured considerably and seen their share of the world.

Even so, watching that many people vanish into thin air left every one of them wide-eyed and slack-jawed.

After a beat of stunned silence, Lin Wei burst out:

"They just — disappeared? I heard Lu Yuan has incredibly powerful spatial abilities, but this is terrifying! He just took all those people and vanished! How strong is he, exactly?"

Min'er Ailan nodded in agreement and glanced at Yang Ping.

Yang Ping's face was a mask of exasperation. "Why are you looking at me? How would I know how strong Brother Yuan is? At his level, even the slightest wisp of leaked aura would be enough to finish me off..."

The others nodded at that.

"Fair point. With someone like you standing in front of Lu Yuan, he'd probably have to hold back his aura just to keep from scaring you to death..."

Yang Ping: "???"

It was true, but hearing it spelled out so bluntly still stung.

Space folded, and in the span of a heartbeat, Lu Yuan's group appeared on an enormous plaza.

This plaza dwarfed Talent Camp's by more than tenfold, with grand black structures rising in the distance.

On one side, a contingent of Cat-kin stood waiting. Among them were the Tianming Sage, Yeye, Small White, and a number of powerful Night clan members Lu Yuan had encountered at Youming Palace during his trials in the Valley of Night.

Beyond them stood a considerable force of Battle Emperors and Battle Sovereigns.

Li Xinghai, Adams, and the others stared in surprise.

One Battle Emperor blurted out in astonishment:

"Cat-kin... This is Tianming Star?!"

Lu Yuan smiled and nodded. "That's right. I need to pick them up so we can all travel together."

Sharp intakes of breath echoed through the group, eyes going wide with disbelief.

"Tianming Star is over twenty million light-years from Great Qi Star... That was instantaneous?!"

Not a single human fighter from Great Qi Star — Adams and Li Xinghai included — had ever encountered another War God. They had no frame of reference for how terrifying that level of power truly was.

Now they were beginning to understand.

Lu Yuan's strength exceeded even the wildest limits of their imagination.

Carrying over a hundred people across twenty million light-years in a heartbeat — without even looking strained. What kind of power was that?

While they were still processing, the Tianming Sage approached with a warm smile, leading the Cat-kin contingent. His gaze swept the group before settling on Lu Yuan with an approving nod.

"Yuan, we're all ready. We can leave whenever you are."

Yeye's lovely face remained expressionless as she and Small White moved to join Li Qinghe's group.

Lu Yuan grinned. "Wonderful. Then let's be off, Elder Tianming."

The Cat-kin numbered considerably more than the human contingent — nearly a thousand strong.

After all, the Tianming Empire was a Saint-level power, commanding far more high-rank fighters than Great Qi Star could muster. Had they not needed to leave a substantial garrison behind, even more would have come.

The combined total exceeded a thousand. A significant number, but transporting that many posed no burden to Lu Yuan whatsoever.

He whisked them all away with effortless ease.

From there, he took the group to Emerald Star to collect Shuangyue and the Emerald Elves, then to Nightshade Star to pick up Anastasia, Gladys, and the other Nightshade Race fighters.

The Nightshade contingent consisted entirely of strikingly beautiful women. Since Elves, Humans, Cat-kin, and the Nightshade Race shared similar aesthetic sensibilities, everyone couldn't help stealing more than a few glances.

The younger talents among the three races were especially affected — their voices rising a touch louder, clearly hoping to make an impression that might win some beauty's favor.

Their hopes were swiftly dashed. Once they arrived, the Nightshade women only had eyes for Lu Yuan, not sparing the others so much as a glance.

It was deeply dispiriting.

With all four races assembled — roughly three thousand fighters of Battle Sovereign rank and above — Lu Yuan's group vanished once more.

In the next instant, they materialized on a spectacularly bustling planet.

The entire world was constructed of metal, every district dense with structures of all kinds. Countless starships rose and descended in steady streams. At the center stood an immense plaza ringed by hovering spatial portals.

These gates led to various destinations. Nearly all of them were active and open, save for a single portal floating at the highest point, which remained sealed.

This planet was called Sky-Mending Star. Like Sky-Mending City, it served as the heart of the Human domain — the most prosperous planet under Human sovereignty.

Lu Yuan's party appeared on this teleportation plaza.

The plaza itself stretched hundreds of kilometers across, resembling a vast plain. You could have fit an entire city on it with room to spare.

And right now, it was far from empty.

The moment they arrived, Lu Yuan and his companions saw teeming masses of people — members of every race imaginable. Li Xinghai and the others scanned the plaza, taking it all in. The atmosphere reminded them of Sky-Mending City.

Amy's eyes went wide. "There are so many people! Are they all heading to the Mechanical Kingdom?"

Si Tingyu surveyed the scene. "Several million, at least."

Lu Yuan smiled. "Given how many planets and races exist across the entire Human domain, even a small fraction of their top fighters adds up to an enormous number. And these millions are probably just a portion of the total."

Li Xinghai nodded. "Yuan's right. The Upper Layer of the Land of Origin alone has well over a hundred million fighters at Battle King Rank and above. Since this mission is dangerous, only a small percentage would volunteer."

As they spoke, nearby fighters from other races noticed the group that had suddenly materialized. When they spotted Lu Yuan, recognition flickered across their faces, eyes widening with surprise.

Hushed whispers broke out among them.

Before long, fighters throughout the vicinity kept stealing glances in Lu Yuan's direction.

Wang Lingling smiled. "Yuan, looks like they've recognized you."

Lu Yuan rolled his eyes. "So they have. Not much I can do about it."

These Foreign Race fighters clearly had enough sense not to approach and bother him, content to observe from a distance. Since it didn't affect him, he couldn't care less.

Just then, starlight flashed and a figure appeared before him.

That distinctive silver-violet cropped hair, that strikingly handsome face — it was Nuxing.

He broke into a grin when he saw Lu Yuan. "I thought I sensed your aura. Sure enough, it's you, Yuan. Your timing's just about perfect — in half a day, the spatial corridor to Genesis Star will open, and everyone can pass through."

Lu Yuan glanced around with a hint of curiosity. "That soon? Has everyone arrived?"

Nuxing shook his head with a laugh. "Not at all. The Human domain is incredibly vast, and some planets don't have nearby spatial gates. Getting to Sky-Mending City takes real time — even those who set out days ago might not make it. But the corridor will stay open for a while, so anyone who reaches Sky-Mending City can step through the portal and head straight to Genesis City."

He chuckled. "Of course, the resources needed to maintain that portal are coming out of the Mechanical Race's pocket."

Lu Yuan nodded in understanding. If that was the case, there was no need to wait for the full assembly.

"I see. Got it."

Nuxing's gaze swept over the gathered company, and his expression sharpened. "While there's still a bit of time, you all might want to organize your forces and make some preparations. But when the gate opens, you'll need to come with me first to meet Bu Chang and the others. The number of War Gods we have is limited, and given the current state of the Aberration over there, things are going to be hectic."

Lu Yuan nodded. "Understood."
